MOLD is dangerous and can be so small as to fit into pores of a glassy marble countertop. Just finished working with a woman and husband who were deathly ill with mold they couldn’t even see. The woman was so sensitive to it that she could FEEL the VOCs and Carbon dioxide emitted from spore in the pores of a 1 yr new countertop. She said it felt like heat, I felt nothing. BUT… after spraying Hydrogen Peroxide on it and seeing no effects, I zoomed in with my iPhone 6 and took a picture. Then I zoomed THAT and saw tiny white specks everywhere!

Her husband had contracted Aplastic Anemia and the Dr’s couldn’t figure out WHERE he was in contact with VOC so toxic! It was his den! Old massive aquariums had left 2 decades of mold growth in the carpets and woodwork…that you couldn’t see but could easily smell!

An Ozone machine CAN and HAS deactivated Green mold and black mold “for me.” My first test was an asthmatic kid who had green algae/mold growing on his bedroom brick wall from a sprinkler. I put an Ozone machine on high for 20 minutes about 3 feet from the 1 foot diameter growth… he stopped using his inhaler that night and hadn’t used it for 3 weeks afterwards… when I called back… and the dad hadn’t cleaned the growth. His dad NEVER turned the machine back on… according to him.

Ozone CAN kill mold and WILL neutralize VOCs… Plumbers are mandated to use ozone to make sure their potable water plumbing is sanitary to put into use.

Biological Benefits
Ozonated water has a clean, fresh taste. This type of water has been shown in a number of scientific studies to kill bacteria and viruses. It has proven effective in killing E. coli, yeast, salmonella and listeria. The biological benefits are a result of the ozone breaking apart creating an single oxygen cell. Ozone adds oxygen to the blood stream and eliminates impurities. Increased oxygen in the brain heightens its function. Single oxygen cells introduced into the immune system makes it stronger and better able to fight infections. Drinking cold ozone water on an empty stomach regularly can detoxify your intestinal tract.

Physical Benefits
Drinking ozonated water increases energy level. It speeds extra oxygen into the body. But the effectiveness of ozonated water is not limited to drinking. Bathing in ozonated water is great therapy for skin disorders. It can be used to treat muscle soreness, spinal and back injuries and neck stiffness. These baths can be incorporated into a healing or wellness plan as directed by a physician. Proper diet and hydration work in conjunction to make these ozone baths most effective. The level of clean after a bath in ozonated water is better in comparison to regular water. The benefits extend to food, also. Washing foods such as fruit, vegetables and meats in ozonated water improve their cleanliness, too.

Medical Benefits
Due to its disinfecting properties, ozonated water is used during surgeries to keep opened areas sterile. It also is used as a supplemental treatment of cancer. Research has shown that the introduction of the third oxygen cell can aid the body’s immune system in containing the existing cancer cells, thus preventing the spread of cancer to uninfected areas of the body. Though this is not potent enough a therapy to be used alone, ozonated water has been shown to kill small numbers of cancer cells in patients.

Blood Detoxification
Ozonated water has been found to convert wastes and toxins to water and carbon dioxide after which they are easily expelled from the body. This is especially essential in neutralizing the effects of harmful toxins.

Fungal Infection
Water that has been ozonated for at least 10 minutes has been found to be effective in treating fungal infections, such as athlete’s foot, ringworms and nail fungus.

Mouth Health
Ozone water when used in bushing of teeth, eliminates bad breath and gum problems.

Skin Cleanser
Ozonated water is a gentle yet effective cleanser for the skin, and is especially helpful in treating acne, blackheads and pimples

I think you’ll agree with me when I say:

It’s hard to choose the best ideal air purifier for allergens with all the choices available!

Or is it?

Well, it turns out, that years and a considerable number of hours doing intensive research, testing & reviewing, we have strong opinions about what makes the best air for allergens: high yield air filter, convenience, easy maintenance. It is very important to understand that an air purifier will not solve an existing, visible allergens growth problem in your homes.

The WSTA SYA-102H air purifier launched at 2019 has all the above elements and that is what makes it beat its competition hands down. As per our research, this incredible air purifier proved to be the most moveable preference. It is also capable, straightforward to use, flawless for clearing out dust and it is as calm as a mouse. The machine generates soothing‘pink noise’which aids in covering disruptive sounds that interrupt your much-needed rest. It has the incredible, important and laser PM2.5 sensor technology that allows you to spontaneously find and adjust to different air quality conditions, prolonging filter life and conserving electricity.

If you need more information on air cleaners, make sure to read our guide on WSTA air purifiers here, or top WSTA Hepa air purifier reviews or our overall top air purifier reviews.

According to WHO’s estimates, about 3-4% of the human population and 10% of atopic people get dangerous symptoms from exposure to mold spores in the air while the majority of people suffering with severe asthma are allergic to them. Mold spores tend to be of various types, but what is similar is the allergic reactions and health problems they tend to disseminate. They even have identical allergens and dangerous contaminants which mean that those who are allergic to molds are likely to be sensitized to multiple mold-types.

You breathe more than you eat or drink, but most likely you don’t give nearly as much thought to what you may be inhaling. With the possibility of over 1,500 invisible and potentially toxic substances contaminating your air space right now, isn’t it time you took control over what you’re breathing?

Whether you’re relaxing at home, working in your office, or riding on public transportation, you’re exposed to a wide variety of airborne particles and contaminants.

While many people focus on outdoor air when they hear ‘air pollution’, you may be surprised to learn that the EPA has discovered indoor air contains 2 to 5 times and potentially as much as 100 times more contaminants than the air outdoors!

Indoor air pollution has truly become one of the most serious environmental threats to your health. Yet, no government agency monitors or controls it and studies on its health effects are limited.

So I ask you… Are you paying as much attention to what you’re breathing into your lungs as you are to what you’re eating and drinking? It may be just as important.

Over the next few minutes, I hope to increase your awareness of what you may be inhaling. And I’d like to share with you options I’ve discovered to help you protect yourself and your loved ones from these contaminants lurking out-of-sight in indoor air, wherever you go.

How Can You Tell If Your Indoor Air Is Polluted?

Most contaminants aren’t visible to the naked eye, so it’s hard to tell how polluted your indoor air may be.

Indoor air pollution is made up of solid and liquid particles that are suspended in your air – or particulate matter.

These suspended particles can consist of dust, metals, smoke, liquid droplets, chemicals and pollen.

One clue may be what you see on your air-intake vent in your home. Particulate matter can build up and form a greasy dirty film, like in the photo.

Even if you can’t see it, particulate matter continually floats through the air in your room, just waiting to be captured by your intake vent or inhaled into your lungs!

A telltale sign of what you may be inhaling

A second clue to the quality of your indoor air might be how you feel. Do you sometimes experience any of these symptoms for no apparent reason?

  • Itchy, watery eyes
  • Runny nose
  • Scratchy throat
  • Headaches
  • Dizziness
  • Forgetfulness
  • Fatigue
  • Moodiness

These can be the immediate effects of particulate matter in your indoor air. Health effects can show up soon after exposure or they can take years to manifest in much more serious ways, affecting your entire body and brain.

The good news is, our R&D team, had developed an advanced layser PM2.5 detector which can accurate tell how much particles are there around you in the air.

And this technology had also been used to our latest developed WSTA air purifier model: SYA-102H.

Air pollution and breathing in bad air can cause birth defect and fatal issues to pregnant women, including damage to brains, hearts, and other organs, according to the research by a team of Texas A&M universities.

The air purifier makes life better for people with allergies

  • Published 23.12.18, 5:51 PM

Gadget: Sharp FP-J60-W air purifier

Tech specs: With high-density Plasmacluster Technology with HEPA and carbon filter

Price: Rs 35,000

Best for: Cleaning up air at home

At the moment, fresh air is at a premium in many cities in India. With winter at its peak, the quality of air in the Indo-Gangetic plain — from Amritsar in the west to Calcutta in the east — is at an all-time low. In summer, the air closest to the ground heats up, becomes lighter and rises upwards, carrying pollutants — especially particulate matter — away from us. During winter, the air close to the ground — and therefore us — is cold and dense and traps all pollutants within it. Industrial and vehicular emissions coupled with biomass burning creates smog that can be fatal.

Emission cuts for industries and farms haven’t yet been enforced and controlling the levels of particulate matter with diameter up to 2.5 microns (PM2.5) is a big challenge. PM2.5 can cause anything from asthma to cancer. According to a 2016 estimate, China and India together contribute to at least 20 lakh deaths attributable to PM2.5. If you live in a city, or in the suburbs, you are breathing air that is a toxic soup of PM2.5, sulphur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2). You can’t do much about the air you breathe at work or outdoors, but you can control the quality of air inside your home.

If you think that the air inside the home is safe, you must be overlooking the dander and hair from your body, dust, mould, mites, pollen and exhaust from passing vehicles. In fact, particulate matter inside a house could range from from fine dust to odours — volatile compounds given off from cooking or tobacco smoke — in addition to the carbon dioxide (CO2) we breathe out.

Washing sheets and curtains frequently, vacuuming, and changing filters of the air conditioner may not be enough, especially on the day,s the whole neighbourhood is veiled in a fine, ashy haze.

Until recently I didn’t believe there was any benefit in installing an air purifier at home. I did not realise that purified air at home improves the quality of life for those prone to asthma and allergy. When I tested Sharp’s latest J Series (FP-J60-W), I was convinced that the 2.4 feet tall and 1.36 feet wide floor unit really gave out refreshingly clean air. There are three layers of filters — an outer to capture large dust particles, the middle for absorbing cigarette and cooking gas molecules, and the inner HEPA (high-efficiency particulate absorber) filter to trap 99.97 per cent of microscopic particles, which includes allergens and PM2.5. Sharp claims its Plasmacluster Technology employs a “three-step system that sterilises and cleanses indoor air”.

However, the clean air comes at a price — Rs 35,000 to be precise. Also, you need to replace the filter (which costs Rs 8,000) roughly once in two years. But it’s worth it if you have a vulnerable family member, as the cost of medicine and suffering could far exceed the price of the purifier.

REVIEW – With my family, it is all about air purifiers to help us with our allergies. We are doing pretty well with in-home air purifiers, but until now I have never been able to try an air purifier in my car.  Usually, when I am in my car, I become very aware that I am continuously clearing my throat to the point that it is annoying. So, when I got the opportunity to test and review the IQAir Atem Car Air Purifier, I gladly accepted.

What is it?

The Atem Car Air Purifier provides a solution for in-cabin gas and odor elimination as well as eliminating other types of pollutants that cause allergies. It combines two types of media that adsorb odors and gases, and that change pollutants to an oxidized form.

What’s in the box

1 x Atem Car Air Purifier
1 x Car Mount
1 x Belt and Buckle
1 x Car Power Adapter
1 x Quick Start Guide
1 x User Guide

The photo below shows the car mount connected to the Atem Car device.

The web belt and buckle are used to attach to the loopholes on the car mount and secure around the poles of the car headrest.

On the entire circumference of the Atem device, there are air fins that allow the flow of air into and out of the Atem Car device so that the air passes through the internal filter and performs the purification function.

Performance

Attaching the Atem device to the headrest is quite easy. You first attach the belt and buckle of the car mount and then loop the belt around the poles of the headrest. Once secured tightly, you attach the Atem device.

Once you connect the car DC power adapter to the power port on the car mount the Atem powers on with a red LED light, and then the LED light turns to blue one it is fully operational. According to the specifications, the LED flashes red twice when the filter must be changed.
